Happening’s at Living Water “The past few weeks”
Great things have been happening at Living Water in the past few weeks. We are truly seeing the fruits of our labor as we continue to have an atmosphere of revival. We have recently had some amazing services and heard powerful messages from both Pastor Drake and Evangelist Andrew Price and have seen many breakthroughs among young and old alike. What a wonderful blessing to know that God is still on the throne. He loves us and wants to draw us closer to Him. If we will allow the Spirit to lead us into all truth there is nothing we cannot face and conquer.
There are many exciting events coming this summer including our very first Vacation Bible School in July on the 10th –12th. Our theme is Knights in Training and we are anticipating great things as we prepare to minister to the tender souls of the children in our community. We expect to see souls filled the precious gift of the Holy Ghost as we are blessed to be able to minister to these children and name them Knights and Ladies of the Kingdom.
As we prepare for the pastor’s four-year anniversary service this weekend let us continue in prayer and fasting. We look forward to hearing great teaching and preaching from Brother Theron Smith of Sumter. I expect great things to happen this weekend. I truly believe chains will be broken and we will be encouraged once again!
Remember, it is in our quiet times with God that He gives us the strength to carry on through the battle. There is no battle so great that we cannot come out victorious in Christ!

Happening’s at Living Water week of 4/26
There is an old song that says “just like the day of Pentecost, the wind is blowing again”. This was evident in our service yesterday as the Pastor spoke about the breath of God. God truly breathed a much needed refreshing into all of us. Adults, young people, and children alike were weeping in the altar and being filled with or renewed in the Holy Ghost. We are continuing to experience God’s blessings at Living Water.
We are planning our first Vacation Bible School so I am very excited to have the chance to reach out to the children in our community. If we can reach the children we will also plant the seed in the parent and the harvest will be plentiful.
We are excited about GREAT things to come in Seneca!

Palm Sunday and Easter
As I reflect over the past few weeks I feel an excitement within me about what God is doing. Our services have been so moving lately. We have broken attendance records repeatedly with 80 in service on Palm Sunday and 70 on Easter with many first time visitors in both services. We have seen so much growth just over the past few weeks. I believe we are truly in revival. Sinners are coming to repentance, souls are being filled with the Holy Ghost, and God is still working miracles in our lives.
The messages we’ve heard have encouraged us to hold on to God’s promises and to the Word He has sent us. We must not only hold on to that word but we must share it with others. We have to carry the gospel to our community through whatever means we have.
I was also excited to see such a great turn-out for our Easter outreach on Saturday. We had about 70 people on the grounds as we let the children hunt eggs and served them hot dogs. We were able to make a number of new contacts through the event. The seeds have been planted and I believe God will let us reap the harvest if we will continue to work.
Living Water is on the move!

Happenings at Living Water Week of 3/15
Yesterday was another amazing day here at Living Water. There was such liberty in the worship as we realized that we are free to dance and free to live for God. We are free in Him! He died on the cross to set us free from sin and bondage and for that reason alone we should want to serve Him.
The sermon Pastor Drake preached titled, “It was once said” reminded us that we must have a made up mind and a determination that no matter what life throws our way, we will not turn back. We will not be like Judas and betray Jesus just because someone offers us something that looks pleasing to the eyes. This world doesn’t have anything to offer that isn’t an imitation of what God has in store for us.
I have often wondered what went through Judas’ mind after he betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. What did he feel? Did he feel guilt, remorse, anguish, or shame? These are the same feelings we should have each time we fall, and we do fall. We must fall on our faces before the Lord and repent so that we can be lifted back to the place He desires us to be.
I want to be what He wants me to be. I want to live the way He wants me to live. It is my prayer that we will let God use us to reach our families, our friends, coworkers and our city.
Let’s continue to lift up our pastor and his family as well as our church leadership in prayer as we go through our week. May God encourage your through your times of prayer and fasting as we impact our city.

Happenings at Living Water Week of 3/8
Another week has come and gone and the results of prayer and fasting continue to be seen. What a wonderful service yesterday as the Spirit flowed from pre-service prayer to Sunday School and then continued to spill over into worship. God poured out his blessings upon us once again as we were encouraged to let God create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. I truly believe we all must come to a place of repentance every day in our walk with God. If we will do this, He will honor it and bless us with great revival.
I stand in awe at the works of His hands as we continue to see just how big our God really is. He is small enough to live within our hearts yet big enough to rule the universe. The first time visitors continue to come through doors each week and this week was no exception. We are very excited about the open door God is setting before us that no man can shut!
Continue to pray for revival!
