A New Year with a New Vision

We are in an exciting time at Living Water! We finished 2009 having 13 baptized in Jesus Name and 12 filled with the Holy Ghost with a number of others repenting and beginning a walk with the Lord. We saw backsliders renewed and our church set a flame of fire with passion for God. Already in 2010 we have seen altars full of repentance and 3 baptized in Jesus Name. Our youth group has begun to grow and we are taking 7 young people to the SC District youth retreat. 3 of those young people have come into the church in the past year.

This Wednesday night we will be presenting our new youth ministry to the church body. It is a new approach with a new theme and a newly decorated youth room. I will wait until the new theme has been officially presented before I make it public here. Our goal for 2010 is to be averaging at least 100 people in our worship service by years end. To accomplish this goal we will have a renewed emphasize on soul winning. This new emphasis will include but not be limited to Intercessory prayer for the lost, a new evangelism effort, planting a daughter church and ramping up our deaf ministry. All of this with the continuation of our children’s ministry and major outreach events throughout the year lead by prayer and fasting will help us see the greatest revival Living Water has ever seen. We ask that you bind with us in prayer as we endeavor to take the whole Gospel to the whole World!

We look forward to seeing you soon at Living Water!

Weekly Happenings at Living Water - The Past Few Weeks

We have been experiencing an awesome move of God here at Living Water over the past few weeks. We have had some deep moves of God. We baptized one new convert just one week into a Home Bible Study. A teenage girl came and developed a burden to seek for the Holy Ghost, and we know when we seek we shall find. As she tasted she saw that the Lord He is good as He filled her with the Holy Ghost!

Our Children’s Ministry has really taken off and we have ran out of room to transport the children to church. Our Church Van is getting repaired this week so we can start filling it up. We are staying very busy with youth events, prayer meeting and preparation for our Fifth Annual Fall Festival. It will be October 10th from 2-5 pm. We will have plenty of FREE food, candy, popcorn, games and prizes. We look forward to another record breaking crowd as we bless our community that we so love!

Come experience the difference at Living Water!

Third Annual Turkey Giveaway

Third Annual Turkey Giveaway

At Living Water seek not just to exist in our community but to make a difference. One of the many ways which we accomplish this goal is by giving away turkey’s. Every year in the month of November we gather as church members and take to the streets giving away turkey’s to those in need. Through this we hope to show the love of Jesus through the spirit of giving. The response we get each year assures us that we are doing the right thing as more than once we have been told that we help make a difference in a family’s Thanksgiving.

This year our Turkey Giveaway will take place after our church service on Sunday November 23. We look forward to giving back to our community!

Happenings at Living Water for the week of 11/3/08

Yesterday was an amazing day. “When the praises go up, God’s glory comes down”. Revival is truly in the air at Living Water and we are seeing growth not only numerically but spiritually as well. New babes in Christ are being born into the Kingdom of God. One man (a first time visitor) received the Holy Ghost Wednesday night and was back on Sunday worshipping the one true God. We baptized three from one family on Sunday and two of them receive the Holy Ghost. When asked how they felt their responses were “great, like I’m floating” and “alive”. Hallelujah, we serve an awesome God!

God was truly welcomed through worship and moved in a mighty way. Through obedience healing was begun and blessings were poured out. As the pastor spoke to us about a “Progressive God” I could see a stirring among the people. Wow, to realize that if we just keep on keeping on He will see us through the battle. No matter what we face we just have to keep looking forward and hold on and remember God is in control, never looking back to where we were. If we will put our faith and trust in Him, He is always faithful to bring us through. If we will just hold on to His promises we will continue to see blessings and growth.
