“Harvest Time”

God has blessed us with continued growth and revival! Recently at our District youth camp 2 of our young people were filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Lord has sent many new souls who already He has given a testimony. In the past few weeks we have been blessed with the ministry of several great men of God who have spoken life and vision into our souls.

This Saturday August 28th at 6:30 pm we will be having our first Spanish service. The service will be a launching pad for our Spanish Daughter Church. Recently we have been blessed with one Spanish speaking family and our services have been bi-lingual. These are exciting times and we are so blessed to be a part of the harvest!

Busy, Yet Exciting Times!

God has been doing so many great things this year at Living Water. As of April we have had four new families become a part of the living Water Family. There have also been several visitors who have had return visits since Easter and we are pursuing Bible Studies with them. Many have been filling the altars seeking for more of God. Our youth is beginning to grow as well. Each Wednesday night we are having our F.U.E.L. Youth Services and we are excited about the revival God is going to give us among our young people.

At the end of May we will be having our first Deaf Evangelism event. We will be having a Deaf Social on Saturday May 22nd and a deaf service on Sunday May 23rd which also happens to be Pentecost Sunday. We are expecting great things! Our Spanish daughter work is still in the works and we hope to be launching it very soon. We have Spanish tracts and Bible studies and we are waiting on our business cards to start the promotions. All of that plus VBS right around the corner in July makes for a busy Spring/Summer at Living Water! Come and be a part of what God is doing in Seneca, SC

A New Season

We are in a new season at Living Water. Many new souls have come into the church and the Lord is giving us a revival! It seems to be a time of gathering and we are earnestly expecting the reaping of the harvest. This past Sunday we dedicated the daughter of a new family in our church. It was so awesome to see the support of the family as that new life was dedicated unto Jesus and His service. Currently the pastor has been leading us through a series in Sunday School and Wednesday night Bible study that has been taking us back to the basics of God’s word.

We have been reaffirming the scriptural truths of being born again of water and of Spirit as well as reemphasizing the power and purpose of prayer and consecration. The foundation is being laid so that we are not standing on sinking sand. With Easter right around the corner we are very busy. The drama team is preparing for presentations on both Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Also we are in the planning and promotion stages of our Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 3rd. We are anticipating great things as Spring approaches. We invite you to come and be a part of what God is doing at Living Water!

What God is doing at Living Water!

God has been so good to us! We have seen at least 25 new people added to the church since June. Many have been baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost. The revival fire burns bright in every service. Home Bible Studies are being taught nearly every week. There have been testimonies of physical healings. We thank God for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of the Harvest. It is a lot of work but if we are not working are we fulfilling our purpose? Acts 2 said that the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. If we are going to have a book of Acts church we must understand that it is going to take some work! We will work for SOULS!

We also want to thank the Lord for providing us with the finances to purchase 100 turkeys to give away to families in need in our community. The responses we have received from those whom the turkey’s were given has been overwhelming. To hear someone tell you thank you and tell you why the turkey came at the right time makes it worth it all. Thank you Lord for making this possible and allowing us to bless Seneca and our surrounding area!

Weekely Happenings - “8/2-8/16″

As summer draws to an end and fall quickly approaches we are reminded of the changing seasons. Summer has definitely been a season for change and growth at Living Water. It has been a season of growth and deliverance as we’ve continued to see souls filled with the Holy Ghost and to witness spiritual growth. We are reminded that if we are faithful in cultivating the soil and planting the seeds God will give the increase. This was evident when one young man received the Holy Ghost on his first visit to the church following his very first home Bible study session. Thank God for hungry hearts!

Our Wednesday night children’s church is growing with several children expressing a desire to be baptized in Jesus name.  As we continue to nurture these young ones I truly believe that we will reach the families through them. This has already become evident with one family as the older brother of two of the children came and wants to be baptized as well. Some people say these children are the church of tomorrow but I believe they are the church of today. As our children and teens return to the classroom let us pray that God will use each of them to shine His light in their schools.

There are a number of exciting things to come as we look forward to God’s continued blessings at Living Water. As the Pastor said on Sunday, this gift of the Holy Ghost is FREE and IS FOR ME. Continue to pray for revival.
