Well, the holidays are over and it was really a busy season. Our Christmas drama was amazing. Knowing that God sends angels to stand in the gap for us when we are faithful; that when we hold true to His word truly the chains of bondage are broken, WOW! God’s grace is truly amazing, and sufficient.
The joint New Year’s Eve service in Anderson was a tremendous blessing as we remember Christ’s sacrifice with communion. His blood will truly never lose its power.
We are now off and running into 2009 starting with thirty days of prayer and fasting. We have been challenged to start this year off with daily Bible reading, prayer, and fasting. What a great way to start the year! Let us all continue in His word and humble ourselves and pray for the blessings of God this year. Remember our weekly services in your prayer time and pray for God’s anointing. It is through prayer and fasting that miracles come.
As I think back over 2008 I can see the areas where we have grown as a church both numerically and spiritually and I can see growth and new ministries developing in 2009. What an exciting year we have ahead.
